In the northern part of Orange County lies a pleasant city, Placentia. The town is known for their simple lifestyle that gives tourists that ‘homey’ feel whenever they visit the city. There’s no wonder that more people are visiting the pleasant city.

If you’re lucky, you may celebrate with them their annual events like the Heritage Festival and Parade that happens in October. You may also visit in March or April for an Easter Egg-citement event that takes place in Kraemer Memorial Park. In summer, the Tri-City Park will have a series of free concerts.

There’s a lot of places to visit and things to do at Placentia. For tourists in the city of Placentia, here are the places you can visit to make your stay in the city memorable.

    1. The Bruery
      The Bruery is recommended for those who love beer! They have a Tasting Room that opens from 12 PM to 10 PM. You get the chance to tour their brewery and taste their beers!
    2. George Key Ranch Historic Park
      The Key Ranch is an excellent place if you want to know about the history of Placentia. You can see a historic house museum, verse garden, and collection of farm equipment.
    3. The Bradford House
      The Bradford House is another historical place in Placentia. Formerly, it was the home of Placentia’s founder, Albert Sumner Bradford. Now, it serves as a house museum.
    4. Stereo Brewing
      Try their awesome local beer! You’ll keep asking for more! They create the right rhythm of music and beer.
    5. Kelly’s Korner Tavern
      Great place for meal, drinks, and games. The bar serves beers, burgers, tacos, and wall to wall TVs.
    6. Scooter’s Jungle
      Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, you’ll enjoy at the Scooter’s jungle. It’s an indoor playroom. They got Ping Pong, obstacle courses, inflatable toys, and more!
    7. Hecho en Mexico
      This is a Mexican art and gift store at Placentia. You can buy souvenirs here as a remembrance.

The different people from all walks of life that visit Placentia complete Orange County’s tourism statistics. Orange County cities spend time and effort on tourism as it’s one of their most important industries of the state. In fact, it ranked second of the most significant industry employer. Healthcare was first.

In 2015, an Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau report shows that 47 million people visited several cities in the state. 4.3 million of those are international travelers. These visitors spent about $11.3 billion.

By 2016, the travel industry grew for the seventh consecutive year. The travel industry-supported 1 million jobs, that’s an up of 3.4% from last year.

In 2018 and the next couple of years, the tourism statistics of Placentia and the whole Orange County are expected to grow even more. The increase will be steadying at a moderate pace.
